Maria serves as the Director of Social Services at Urban Light Community Church.  The mission of Maria's ministry is to serve God's people in a holistic approach.  Maria assists members with day to day environmental and social issues such as counseling, health care, housing, etc...  Maria is a faith based counselor and social worker by profession.  She also teaches for Indiana University in the School of Social Work as well as Ivy Tech in Social Services.  Maria has a BS degree from IU in Public and Environmental Affairs and a Masters degree from IU in Social Work.  Maria was born and raised in Muncie, IN.
